AM-Clad played a key role in the internal upgrade of the prestigious 400-bed Bahrain Defence Force Hospital (BDFH) in Riffa – Bahrain’s second largest city.
AM-Clad UK advisers spent the first three months in Bahrain training and working alongside local installation teams, allowing the fully-trained teams to complete the project in the final two months.
A team of 10 engineers installed more than 11,000 square metres of AM-Clad wall lining systems throughout the state-of-the-art hospital. Welded seams were specified by BDFH to create a maintenance-free hygienic environment.
Specially commissioned AM-Clad Vision high-resolution large format graphics featuring Bahraini landmarks and scenery were printed directly on to AM-Clad PVC sheets in the UK and sealed with an industry-leading hard-wearing antimicrobial coating.
Over 1,600 square metres of photo-real AM-Clad Vision panels were installed to create a welcoming environment and help to calm patients, visitors and staff.
